At Make A Dog Smile ®, we believe that animals are people too. Like us, they too are entitled to the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As the planet's most vulnerable inhabitants, they deserve our strongest support.

Our journey began in 2018 when we decided to create a brand that not only makes people look cute but also saves the adorable animals. We saw the statistics that every year, about 3.7 million animals are euthanized, which means one animal is put down every 7 seconds. Five in 10 dogs and 7 in 10 cats in shelters are euthanized simply because there is no one to adopt them. 25 percent of shelter dogs are purebred, and only 10 to 20 percent of dogs owned are adopted from shelters. We were moved by these numbers, and we knew we had to do something to help.

We envision a world where all animals are treated with love and respect, and are entitled to the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As a company, we strive to be a leading advocate for animal welfare and a trusted partner for those who share our values.

Mission

Our mission at Make A Dog Smile ® is to create a better world for dogs and the people who love and need them, with the goal of making dogs smile. It all begins with love. We work in partnership with individuals and organizations to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need. To support this cause, we donate 10% of our net profits to no-kill shelters and have donated $80,000 to date. Our goal is to donate at least $70,000 in 2023. By doing this, we hope to help end the euthanasia of dogs and cats worldwide. As a small family-owned and operated business since 2018, we believe that mankind has an obligation to care for and protect animals, and we strive to be a place to shop that embraces the special place our dogs hold in our hearts.
